Cobblestone's response to the COVID-19 situation

Starting on Monday, March 16th we will implement the following measures in order to continue provision of effective, ethical and safe intervention for our clients:

1- Sessions will be scheduled with a 5 minute gap between clients in order for service providers to sanitize therapy furniture and needed materials, hand wash and greet the next client.

2- Parents are asked to wait in their car until they see their child's therapist step out of the front door of the building.

3- If siblings are in the car please walk only the client up to the front door and return to the car to wait for the session to be over and have your child returned to your car.

4- Service providers will sanitize clients hands before the provider and the client walk into the building.  We will vary the method of hand sanitizing depending on client's sensory needs.

Cobblestone has purchased secure and HIPAA compliant software in order to rapidly develop our ability to service clients via telepractice.  With these measures in place we plan to be able to continue effective and efficient intervention for all of our clients in a manner that best suits each family and child.

We ask all parents to communicate any family illness, no matter how minor it may seem, to us prior to any face-to-face sessions. Our service providers are committed to protecting their own health in order to be able to safely continue intervention with all of our clients.

Parameters for attending an on-site session:
  • No fever within the 24 hours prior to the session
  • No body aches
  • No shortness of breath
  • No exposure to a person with COVID-19 symptoms within the past 4 days

Please keep an open line of communication with us.  We know that every client's needs are different and we are determined to adjust our service delivery model on an individual basis.
